God Module, Monday June 25th

The Seance Tour rolls through Bakersfield and stops at HERESY!! This show is well worth getting out on a Monday evening for some great goth-industrial music!!

Here are some upcoming events at Heresy!

Saturday June 9th, 2012

Heresy would like to invite you to join us for a night of alternate universe, mad scientists, clockwork architecture, steam technology, and industrial mega-cities.

We present to you, "A Steampunk Fantasy."

Please join us, and walk through the Gate of Delerium, into this world of Retro-Futurism where old fashioned, steam powered equipment is morphed with the technology of the future. Steampunk style outfits are encouraged for this event. Use your imagination in creating your outfits for this Neo-Victorian; Neo-Wild West themed night. Come dance as the musical sounds of Heresy's magnificent sound machine cranks out song after song of dark alternative wonder.

What manner of Pseudo-Science is this????

Our Steampunk Fantasy will climax when Los Angeles death punk band BLOODPENNY takes the stage for a live performance. You will not want to miss this performance!

BloodPenny follows paths laid out by The Misfits, TSOL and Type O Negative and play an evil blend of punk and goth. They are perfect for Bakersfield, and Heresy is honored to host them.

Please come out and treat yourself to a great night of cold drinks, dancing, GREAT LIVE MUSIC, and fun times with friends.

We hope to see many, many of you there.

Heresy invites you to a special club event as the GOD MODULE SEANCE TOUR rolls through Bakersfield, and they've chosen Heresy to party with!

HORROR INDUSTRIAL - BLACK ELECTRO - MURDER WAVE - SPOOKY DANCE MUSIC

God Module is a Goth-Industrial group, formed in 1999. They are currently signed to Metropolis Records in America and Out of Line Music in Germany. After 4 full length CD's, 3 EP's and hundreds of live performances around the world, God Module is still evolving into what it was meant to be. God Module's founder and mastermind Jasyn Bangert has brought his childhood dreams to life as musical nightmares. Aided by current God Mod members Clint Carney (System Syn, Imperative Reaction) and Courtney Bangert, God Module take all the common electro, gothic and industrial cliches and systematically tear them apart. They are stitched back together again in unnatural ways to create a unique, constantly mutating soundscape.

God Module is issuing you a clear invitation to the dance this spring when they launch The Seance Tour in mid-May. After The release of their 5th full length CD -Seance- , God Module took part in last fall’s highly successful TRIPTYCH US tour and recently returned to Europe for 2 shows including 1st Out Of Line Weekender Festival in Berlin Germany in March. Now they are hitting the road in the headlining spot to present -Seance- in all its alluring and deranged glory. With a far more horrific stage show and the addition of new God Module live member Jon Siren on drums, fans should expect an even more powerful live show than what they have experienced in the recent past. The focus will be on the new CD but expect a wide selection of old favorites to scream and dance along to every night!

Joining God Module this time out will be Twitch the Ripper and Mordacious.

Newly signed to Metropolis Records, Twitch the Rippers mood driven, 80s inspired, Synth Pop style projects the darker aspects of 80s synth icons like Depeche Mode and New Order, while still showcasing their own personal sound. This summer will see their first release on Metropolis titled -Colorblind- and these dates will be your first chance to experience the new material live! Opening the shows will be Southern Californian harsh Electro project Mordacious. Having self-released a very impressive back catalog of material, Mordacious has recently signed to German label INFACTED RECORDS for the release of the new CD -Suicide Club- which was mastered by Jasyn from God Module. Mordacious pounding, club-focused anthems will start things off in an insane way. Both bands will make for 2 very diverse and intense examples of electronic music leading up to God Module every night! You are all invited.. The Seance is about to begin!
